To All,
I share each of your feelings regarding Tom Coffin, Bureau of Planning, Arborist etc-we can collectively in our neighborhoods by joining together be heard an make a difference—along with helping ensure Mary is our next Mayor-it is our only hope!!
As an FYI, we have had personal experience with Tom Coffin. He is one of the FEW who cares, knows trees, enforces the ordinances in entirety and is not in collusion with any developer or homeowner only doing what is right for green, the law and environment, and City of Atlanta. He is honest, above board and operates with complete integrity. In our situation, we found blue signs were changed to yellow against the field advice (Tom Coffin) and this was done by Ansley Caldwell who is above Frank Mobley. It appears to me, it is the SAME city behavior as Campbell and Caldwell to the Commissioner level are all in cahoots together.
Just wanted to share this additional name with each of you, as in our situation, when we had our issues we contacted Mr. Coffin he advised us his hands were tied as he was over ruled by above. When I contacted Frank Mobley he was shocked to find this out and thus it was apparent Ansley Caldwell was the one who made decisions-thus Frank Mobley is a good man and by the way knowledgeable as well-the department in my opinion is run by inept people for the commissioner down!!!
Willing to help and sharing frustration!!
